About the Logo

 In an attempt to build a logo representative of the West Carleton Fire Department, we chose the hexagon and 6 helmets to represent the Department’s six fire stations.

Since this is a Canadian Regional competition we use the red maple leaf.

“Memories of West Carleton” signifies the end of an era in which the West Carleton Extrication Team has enjoyed some success. Now, with the amalgamation of the Township of West Carleton into the city of Ottawa, it will be the last time that we will use the well-known name.

The EOAEC (Eastern Ontario Auto Extrication Committee) is our advisory body, the members of which have a wealth of knowledge and share it freely.
